I'm proud to say that this project marked a significant milestone for me: my debut as a unit production manager for a feature film. To add to the challenge, we opted to film the entire project on an expedition. This meant coordinating flights, transfers, and accommodations while juggling my main responsibilities. Unfortunately, a storm at sea forced us to cancel the first shift altogether.
Despite the obstacles we faced - from trudging through ankle-deep sand to wading through waist-deep water to driving 180 kilometers between shifts at the airport and back, and shooting atop towering mountains - the experience was truly priceless.
