In 2020, thanks to Petr Fomichev, I thought I was saying my goodbyes to the Russian film industry. Or at least that was my initial belief.
That's when WMG came into the picture, a company co-founded by the well-known Russian showman Vadim Galygin. I was initially hired as the director for the shooting location for 'Anekdot Show' (more on this later), but my career ascended quickly, owing to my experience. Eventually, the company set up its studio, trusting me entirely with equipping it.
The "For You to Understand" project marked a crucial milestone. For the first time, I was doing the shooting myself, managing the lighting, the cameras, and monitoring the sound. Considering it was my debut in this capacity, it turned out quite respectable.
