In my view, sound in cinema has often been undervalued in Russia. This can be attributed to a lack of resources, time, or a general belief that it's not that critical aspect. As a result, we were more than happy to undertake several projects for students at VGIK.

One of these projects was "Bon Voyage," directed by Railya Karimova. Fortunately, the sound recorded on set was of a decent quality, which made our task considerably easier. Essentially, all that was needed was for Sergey Makeev to skillfully mix and master the sound.
